自從開始從事陶藝創作以來，我一直深受亞洲藝術的吸引。近年來，我專注於學習日本的「挖空」（Kurinuki）技法，這種手法顛覆了傳統的成型方式。它的重點不在於建立結構，而是透過減去泥土來成形。此次展出的茶碗正是這段探索歷程的成果。
I have admired Asian art ever since I started making ceramics. Forsome time now I have been following the Japanese technique, Kurinuki, which actually reverses the original way of making ceramics. It is not the structure that is important in this technique, but the removal of clay. My Chawans are the result of these studies.
